The Association · APS registered with the RUNTS
TMS Venezuela is a non-governmental, non-profit social promotion association (APS), registered with the RUNTS — Italy's National Register of the Third Sector. We were founded specifically to respond to the emergency of the earthquake that struck Venezuela on 24 June 2026: we collect material goods from companies and organise the entire logistics chain to bring them to the affected areas.
01 / The Association
TMS Venezuela was born from a simple observation: after a disaster, the first weeks fill up with rescuers and media attention, but the reconstruction — the real one, made of homes, schools, hospitals and infrastructure — takes years and, above all, materials. Money alone is not enough: what's needed is sheet metal, pipes, cables, generators, medicines, equipment.
That is why we chose the form of a non-profit social promotion association: every contribution is traceable, every load is documented from departure to delivery, and no step generates profit. We put at the service of the reconstruction what we have known how to do for over twenty years: import, logistics and customs management in Venezuela.
02 / For companies
Joining the initiative is not just an act of solidarity: donating goods to a social promotion association registered with the RUNTS brings concrete tax benefits for your business.
Donations of goods entitle you to a tax deduction of the value of the donated goods, under the incentives provided for Third Sector entities.
The free transfer of goods to the association does not generate revenue to be taxed: the goods leave the warehouse without weighing on the company's income.
End-of-line items, surplus stock and working returns become a tax benefit and concrete help, instead of a storage or disposal cost.
We provide you with all the donation and delivery documentation needed to support the claim. We go through the details together during the first call.
03 / The founder
An entrepreneur of Italian origin, Marco Rasera is the founder of TMS Venezuela. For over twenty years he has worked in import, logistics and customs management in Venezuela and the Caribbean, with operating bases in the ports of Puerto Cabello and La Guaira.
The heart of his experience is customs management: over the years he has come to know the Venezuelan customs system from the inside and to navigate its procedures with confidence. He knows how to clear containers through customs and get them to their destination — precisely the hardest knot to untie for many humanitarian organisations, which often have funds and goodwill but not the skills and contacts needed on the ground.
It is this expertise, together with a network of institutional and business contacts built in the field, that Marco now puts at the service of the Association: turning companies' generosity into aid that truly reaches where it is needed.
